A protest was held today in Parliament Square in defence of the rights of women in Iran. A small crowd gathered to wave Iranian flags, listen to speeches, and hear ethnic music.
The Square outside Parliament has been used frequently for gatherings of this kind. In previous years pro-Gaza, pro and anti EU, and other causes have been represented in number.
