London’s present state is laughable in terms of human development. The hard work of the few is wasted by the many. This occurs in all professions and across all walks of life. It was estimated by a researcher to be done by 30% of its inhabitants.
I’ve got my own experience of this ingrained issue. It’s so pervasive that literary terms cover for its life and times. These are relied on to mask a hurting, broken city. It’s not Dickensian. It’s a real human crisis in the making. If it’s not looked at by health professionals it may be a disaster.
As I’ve worked I’ve seen many sinister people. It’s those who pretend it doesn’t happen – but see it does. It’s those who do it – just before getting married. It’s those that say business depends on it. It’s also those who work on security but actually support it.
There are reports of Court staff raping in bars. There are rumours of Politicians in pubs selling drugs. It’s been suggested a Peer offered a contract killing on a street corner. It’s a sort of story many have got now. It’s time for it to change.
