London activism needs to stop

The basis of protest in England is really an activist community that refuses to go away. They live out of whole buildings, stymie political activity as a day job, and ridicule social standards by their relentless ignoring of rules.

The streets protests are the worst feature of a growing subterranean rot of personal belief and generative self-expression. This isn’t human rights or aid assistance, but a quasi-legal tremor against the foundations of our democratic system.

The support it gets from outside parties is telling. Every Russian crime gang of note knows about its lived-in aspect in London. Many African militias are regular inquirers into its remit of activity.

Those that don’t act to stop it aren’t just risking economic activity but also the regard of the population of London and beyond. There’s scant support shown for its regular interference in the life of the UK’s largest city, and its self-supporting claims are fallacious.
