Conflict

  • Gaza deaths likely near 2,000

The Gaza conflict is an overwhelming narrative for some people, but reports suggest Israel’s bombardment has taken 1,909 or so civilian lives from the local population.

This is much less than speculative numbers given out by bodies setup and marshalled by Hamas, a terror group that runs streets by violence and takeover of legitimate operations.

  • Russia powers ahead in spite of sanctions

The state of things on the ground in Russia is different to those along the airwaves. This is the sentiment that many professional Russians have if it comes to Western media.

They’re proud of their country’s fortunes.

They believe that recent progress in business and particularly in the energy sector has strengthened their claim to being a future-focused, successful State.

The longevity of their hopes is found in recent moves to also forge direct links to others. It’s seen in meetings between Russian state and Chinese state representatives.

It’s also now coming through slowly in its own news.

The reporting by TASS (a Russian news agency) that Gazprom is selling high amounts of gas to China via its new Power of Siberia pipeline tells us more about its ambitions, and influence.

The fact is, Russia can and will look elswhere.

While it may be a policy of shutdown or denial that Russia faces in the West, it can challenge a showdown with America by continuing to build on its regional significance.

  • Win: “Most Wanted” criminals

In a stunning exclusive for Conservative News Site, a pair of criminals wanted around the world and in the UK for crimes against humanity have been recovered in Reading, Berkshire.

Two suspects loitering in Reading alleged of serious crime.

It’s believed the couple are the birth parents of Ken Gott, the assumed name of the former leader of Fascist Estate, an assets holding company alleged to be behind crime on a large scale in the UK.

The “Duo” are alleged to be implicated in crimes in Africa in particular. It’s not related to America or Australia, in spite of reports. It’s believed many of their accomplices still live in the UK.

  • Hamas is not a bedfellow

Hamas is playing a dirty war with Israel. It has used underhanded tactics and deploys inhumane techniques. It’s not a conflict Israel can lose.

To the UK it poses a problem. We haven’t solved ours and we think to lecture Israel. However, it’s an emotive issue that touches the reaches of the heart.

Starmer offers Gaza a pipe dream from people who give pipe dreams. These are not ‘offers’ or ‘plans’ as people suggest. It’s new strategy for Hamas.

  • What Ukraine means for Europe

The war in Ukraine with Russia has lasted nearly three years. Although targets are hit deep inside either countries, the combat has only straddled their shared border. Its hostilities are mainly centred on Eastern Ukraine and Western Russia.

Despite this, the threat remains for the rest of Europe. There are plenty of targets for Russia to strike. It hates most of the West, and Putin hates our allies and partners in particular. He’s regularly stated a willingness to respond if we attack it first.

It’s not obvious where it goes next, and if the rest of Europe should be afraid. Ukraine’s potential membership of Nato, and the EU, sets up such confrontation in the future. Now, it’s a question of what happens if the war were to spread outward.
