London’s theatre offering
London’s theatre scene is bursting with a selection of productions due that also promise to draw in crowds.
Shakespeare’s Coriolanus is at the National Theatre in the South Bank starring David Oyelowo, one of the UK’s most prominent Black actors, in the title role.
A theatre favourite, Waiting For Godot, is at the Haymarket Theatre Royal until December. It stars Ben Whishaw who’s also acted in three James Bond films as well as the Paddington series.
A play called Pins and Needles, inspired by the recent Covid pandemic, is at the Kiln Theatre. It covers the major issue of vaccines that some found controversial during their rollout.
