The term fascism isn’t easy to define because it has so many different faces if it’s not in power. A term like it is used to denote individuals, protest groups, and individual organisations that are extreme in their beliefs, political ideology, and tactics of mobilisation.
In general the presence of someone like this is disruptive in a more diverse, liberal, and free society. It’s due to their agitation against everyday activities and opposition to the duties of a democratic state. In particular they hate prominent figures and strive to disrupt their work.
