It’s believed that a suspect involved in making illegal eviction notices and serving these as fake legal advice to residents of towns in Berkshire is now being prosecuted for his crimes.

The practice was not previously known to be widespread, particularly in the West.
However, even though it’s believed to be used in some African countries only as a form of casual harassment, it’s been picked up in the UK as a criminal racket.
The distress it causes is known to lead to suicides, and has been linked to professional deaths in a number of locally based contexts.
