In an exclusive for ConservativeNewsSite.com, and for journalism in the UK in general, a “Stingray” event was caught live on camera earlier this evening in Reading, Berkshire.
It consists of an attempt to defraud an entire neighbourhood of its identity, and using facts, figures, and data “taken” from its placement to sell on a “Human DarkWeb” market.
The setup up involved a complex network of individuals, but a simple internet presence that acts a digital “ID card” to cover for the true motives of the nefarious group.
The effort is well timed, planned, and executed to cause minimal visual and audible disruption, but to create a capture wide enough to be sufficient to sell on to criminals overseas.
In times past such data has been sold to media organisations, documentary makers, and some film studios. It’s also been tracked back to Universities, but it’s unverified.
