The installation of a Supreme Court into the constitution of the UK is a great moment in theory for the pursuit of Justice. The haggling for just causes has led to a problematic structure of chaos and recriminations. We’ve all lived through it and we’ve all heard the noises of incoherent argumentation and weaponised moral belief systems.
The UK Supreme Court, although new, is already helping to restore confidence in a fact-based environment for lawmaking and to litigation of the truth. This isn’t easy to come by, but the innovation of Westminster’s newest incumbent is something to celebrate. In times to come the reasons will become clear for everyone.
