The DG of MI6, Blaise Metreweli, is now accused by staff of putting lives at risk by refusing key duties and continuing to make private excursions to random locations.
The shocking accusations come at a bad time for the spying service, which is trying to correct its public image by instituting new working practices to assuage fears of laziness and overworking of some staff.
