MI6 need to learn about leadership

The problem with MI6 right now is its approach to leadership. The UK has suffered with this for some time, and it’s spread to the UK’s only acknowledged overseas spying agency. It’s now a grave problem in the military establishment.

The point is that sole appointments are leaders in themselves. Yet, they have a position they could loose. This is possible if others insist on a networking mentality. They have, and MI6 is weaker for it.

The meeting of minds that some powers in Intelligence have wanted is deleterious. It conflicts with everyone else’s purpose. It results in flatlining activity. It leads to low staff morale, and trouble elsewhere. They must now reject its enticement.
