The street art that pops up all over London is sometimes welcome and oftentimes not. This is just the struggle between those that are allowed and those who don’t have permission. Apart from the crowd that likes to do it free and local, there’s a burgeoning art scene that isn’t especially professional but still gets creative space to use up.

It’s a global way of life. It’s seen across the world as just another way to brighten up public spaces so that less attention is given to negative facts and figures. These happen often too, but a jumble of shapes and a wash of colours can help us to feel happy even for just a second.
The public nature of the art also adds to ideas that we’ve got at the moment. The politics of it is beside the point that’s in there in a much deeper and more symbolic way. People also want life-affirming things to see and such art makes it happen in reality.
