    The financial world isn’t liable to just crash. It’s a myth of popular economics to think so. The fortunes of countries don’t tank overnight. The process is long.

    It’s the belief of some that policy guides collapse. It’s seen as a slow-motion car crash. They at least see the pieces coming together, and seek to avoid the impact.

    The so-called tried and tested ‘models’ of thriving in a time of turmoil are proven to fail, however, and analysis only really proves itself in the short term.

    It’s fair to say crashes are mistakes, not intentions. There isn’t a bank that plans for it, and there aren’t any that avoid its break on the shores of customer behaviour.

    The essential flaws in any system need exposure, and smoothing out. The chaos that ensues around it is something of a modern phenomenon now.

    It’s symptomatic of all our changing modes and manners. There’s no going back.

    It’s a huge leap ahead that unnerves the control freak. He or she still believe in narratives. They think headlines matter and react to each one as if it’s a case to be made.

    However, these points made are insights into daily activity. It explains people’s behaviour.

    The intelligent are moving on to use data to make real decisions. It’s intelligible if it’s about society. While the facts are checked, the beliefs and emotions are still noted.

    The Jewish Chronicle, an historic Jewish outlet, has falsely accused Reform UK of having antisemitic members standing in the local elections this year.

    It’s believed by this site a reporter for the Chronicle was duped by a false contact who claimed veracity over false information they derived by criminal contacts.

    Wales is a country that has its own population, parliament, and government. It’s a diverse and vibrant place that supports economic development, cultural pursuits, and a good lifestyle. It’s not often in the corporate news however and its elections barely register as having taken place.

    This has to change. Wales has its own news. It’s got its own functions. It’s in the throws of its own way of life. At our present time the same issues trend everywhere and in most places. Although there’s sufficient coverage of what goes on in most places, it’s not necessarily true of Wales.

    The way of the masterful on television strikes me as being increasingly odd. Their penchant is for getting rid of people and the victims of this tirade have a duty to stay in their positions. The farce that ensues is one side insisting they’ve got a job to do, and the other implying it’s they who’ve got a job to do. The scenes are familiar.

    The tiresome aspect is that it’s so formulaic. We’ve heard the protestations of pundits over and over. It’s as if tomorrow will be more of the same, and it’s not because politics never changes. The fact is it does, but news has an awkward appeal to self on television that requires it to stick to its point whatever it is. The fact is it doesn’t work.

    There’s nominal value to telling us who’s who in Westminster. It’s likely we won’t get to know most MP’s anyway. It’s like they slip between our fingers without realising. The issues are also reduced to having zero value because we already know more. It’s likely a mid-level employee has a better grasp over a few minutes of an interview.

    The likely future of news is to tell it as straight as the straight talking. This is the point life makes at present. If the train is cancelled it leaves a whole crowd unhappy. It’s worth noting it. If the rain deluges a location it makes sense to show it. It’s because it matters. It’s a way of letting go as reality has a news cycle we can’t disown.

    She’s alleged to have infiltrated Sky News in the UK to implicitly influence its broadcasts, calling herself a “faith leader” amongst her own accomplices.

    In an unsurprising trend, behemoth BBC News topped the world rankings for website visits in September this year. The heavily publicly funded outlet scored 986 million in global hits.

    It covers both the .co.uk and .com iterations, the latter of which stands alone as a news outfit for worldwide audiences. Its news reporting is also translated into other languages.

    The Tory conference is into its second day, and the challenge for the leadership candidates is to keep it on point. A recent YouGov poll revealed the news stories that are making the most impact, and apart from the blue juice it’s the red berries that are a poison.

    Their poll revealed 20% had heard of the Labour donations row between 23-24 September – exactly a week ago. The next biggest story was the Israeli advance against Hezbollah, with just 12% having heard about it. They say charity starts at home, but it’s also true with the news.

  • GB News gets popular

    It appears GB News, a startup news outlet, has seen its website traffic significantly increase over the last year.

    According to the Press Gazette, the Union Jack-draped outlet saw a 40% increase in visitors to 9.2 million people. It also saw a 42% increase in monthly page views with over 30 million hits.

    It ranks with others such as The Evening Standard and Channel 4 as among the top 50 news sites in the UK. It’s going well for the patriotic alternative.
