In a last meaningful act, President Biden awarded Pope Francis the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction yesterday.
It followed 19 recipients receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom, including George Soros, Bono, and Denzel Washington.

Arise, Sir Khan
The news is that London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, is set to receive a knighthood. It’s thanks to Sir Keir Starmer, himself a recipient of the award, and a proud bearer of it.
Therefore Khan joins the elite, and highly honoured, in the UK. It’s a far cry from gruelling campaigns and the relentless criticism that he’s had to put up with of late.
