America is too busy – Opinion

The stateside state of affairs is a war on all fronts. We don’t understand what that means over here. The daily business is surely suspended. The matters in hand are more important. The notional comes to the fore.

The UK isn’t a machine like the US. We’re geared for quieter, slower enterprise. The policies that make a nation are broken by quickness and subterfuge. People fail to follow the critical issues overnight. The great carriage of state pulls to a halt.

In going forward, we need to know what’s what with our American partners. It cannot be that thoughts and feelings matter enough to cover for their multiplied agenda. We cannot convene over obvious pointers or relapse to past times.
