In time the fact of corruption comes to the surface. It’s got to. It’s suspicion. It’s curiosity. It’s confusion. It gets the better of us. It results in a need to know. The result is intelligence.
In London, it’s been suspected Policing “gangs” have ruled small parts of it. It probably isn’t true. It’s more likely they act alone. It’s unlikely they’re gangs. It’s safer to be circumspect.
It’s hidden. They wear a uniform. They have no pride. It makes them feel shame. Their cause is selfish. They just want more. It may be cash. It may be control. It may be power.
