Apple raise prices in contentious move

Apple, the Californian design and invention supremo, has announced price increases on a range of its popular products. The move comes amid renewed scrutiny of its accounts, and in particular patchy payment of leveraged design and tech development staff from across the world.

Although some products remain unaffected, like the iPhone, others see price hikes upwards of $100 to $200 on their value. The significant up spend is projected to put off about five percent of its consumer base. As price conscious shoppers seek alternative, familiar brands elsewhere, Apple will have to drive hard its marketing effort to justify the new prices.
