A league ranking table pitching MI6 as better in Europe than its institutional colleagues is a marvel but not a wonder. As a starting point, it puts each where they should be. The UK has long placed a priority label on its intelligence.
In the future it may be different, but for now, the badge can be worn with pride.
The UK is developing outward and it only stipulates what activity has come before it. Definitely, a lot of investment is going to go into domestic politics, not spying, and so MI6 staff will have to work on their own to keep first place.
