Approval of Gov. remains low

YouGov’s ongoing approval rating for the current government proves to be an interesting barometer of public opinion.

The question, “Do you approve or disapprove of the Government’s record to date?”, elicits the feelings of ordinary voters.

It’s shown a lacklustre sentiment of late. The most recent result for 26 May is 65% disapprove and 15% approve.

This isn’t a good standing for a Labour government.

It’s taken aim at farmers, and some pensioners, and it shows. The ongoing Dover Crossings doesn’t help it either.

The discord in society at large also negatively affects feelings about progress in Westminster.
